ReplyDeletei agree with georges2 airplanes did go in to the bermuida triangle and all but one didnt come out but did u know that also ships have been lost in the bermuida longer than before those planes came?
DeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is a very strange place because of all the mysterious disapearences. No one knows what is really happening to the planes, boats and people missing, which makes it very intriguing. Odd things like, compass's not working right and people never to be seen again, makes us want to learn more. There is a lot of different theories. My theory is that there is an explanation for the weird things that have been happening. The Bermuda Triangle, it's one of the only places where true north and magnetic north line up, this could explain the compass's not working properly. I also think the plane and boat disapearences are just a coincidence. maybe just bad luck, plane crashes, and boat wreckcs.
ReplyDeleteI agree and disagree with this person. I agree that the disappearances, plane crashes, and boat wrecks could of been a coodincedence. But, if it was bad luck then they probably would of found the boats or planes. Maybe it was bad luck that they crashed and the people on a nearby island could of thought that people would of thought they did it so they would hide the things that wrecked/crashed.
DeleteI agree with this post because it could easily just be bad luck that all these disappearances have happened. Like, the planes could have just had a malfunction and crashed coincidentally by the Bermuda Triangle. Since there is no proof to how or what exactly is happening with all of the wrecks, crashes, and disappearances, we shouldn't just assume that something supernatural is going on. Many other things could have happened in the Bermuda Triangle. That is why I agree with this post.
DeleteI agree with this person completely. The Bermuda triangle is a very strange place and the theory on the compasses not working right is spot on. I think there is an answer as well and inthink it lays deep within the Bermuda triangle.
DeleteThe bermuda triangle is so strange because ships go and sail the area and end up disappering and no ships or plans are found in the 500,000 mile radise.But ships and plans will fly or sail the area and come out alive but some times they end up missing. And its interesting to think about that its only in that area that ships and plans end up missing in action.And my theory is that maybe the that area theres bad wheather and ships are dissapering from like bad waves and bad storms.
ReplyDeletethe Bermuda triangle was located between Miami and Puerto Rico. lots of the planes that flew over the Bermuda triangle was most likely to disappear no one new how this was happening. some boats got through the Bermuda triangle safely and other boats disappeared. most of everything that went through the Bermuda triangle were gone. There was a rescue crew trying to find out what was happening they disappeared and were gone. there navy planes that flew over the Bermuda triangle that disappeared.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that makes the Bermuda triangle so strange and mysterious is that everyone that enters never leaves also while Christopher Columbus was sailing he saw a light most likely a meteor but you don't know what it is. It was called the Bermuda triangle or the devils triangle for that reason. What makes the Bermuda triangle so intriguing is that it kind of makes you want to go there. Like it makes you want to see if they lived if the people that went there how did they die! In the Bermuda triangle there was many theories like sea monsters, giant squids, alien abductions, bad luck, the gods of Atlantis, or the not so sure meteor Christopher Columbus saw. My personal theory is the meteor. The meteor may have caused bad weather that caused malfunctions with the planes the people like the five men on flight 19 had a malfunction with the compass and flew until they ran out of fuel and crashed into the sea. So that is my theory.
ReplyDeleteThere are multiple unexplained reasosns why the Bermuda Triangle is considered strange and mysterious. First, a great number of ships and aircrafrs have vanished wishout a trace around the area nicknamed "The Bermuda Triangle" or "The Devil's Triangle." Even Christopher Coloumbus recorded strange and wild currents in that area as well as erratic compass readings. This may be due to the fact that the bermuda triangle is one of the only regions no Earth where true North and Magnetic North match up. The bermuda triangle talkes up about 500,000 square miles of the ocean and is located between Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. My personal theory on this event is that ther is nothing "supernatural" about the Bermuda Triangle, but moreover, just that the Bermuda Triangle is a area in the ocean with particularlly strange currents a rare north matchup.
ReplyDeleteI agree with presleyw2 on her theory of what is really happening in the Bermuda Triangle. Many people have theories that sound like they are straight out of a science fiction novel. I believe that something more realistic is occurring, such as the alignment of true north and magnetic north as preslyw2 said. Although no one knows for sure what keeps happening, I doubt giant sea monsters or aliens are involved. All in all, I completely agree with presleyw2 on the fact that nothing paranormal or supernatural is taking place.
DeleteI agree with presleyw2, she gives a good point. I think these events are very odd, but in my opinion it's just because True North and Magnetic North line up. All the rare disappearances and false compasses readings could all be linked to this. I highly doubt Atlantis and time warps were part of these ships vanishing. I think it could just be bad luck, but a more reasonable theory would be the North's matching up.

Also, The Burmuda Triangle is also called "Devil's Triangle", which makes it sound dark and mysterious. It's a well-known myth that has been around for years.

All the theory's that are said to be true cant be because no one knows foresure what happened people are just saying that there theory is true its not really a theory to me its your opinion on what u think happened. Yes its strange that this is happening because theres no trace of anything that has vanished there like Amelia Erhart no one found a trace of her or her plane.
ReplyDeleteI agree with owens5 about how many paranormal researchers have created theories about the Bermuda Triangle. A couple of the theories created were alien attacks and watersprouts. I also find it strange how the sailors and pilots who flew and sailed into the Bermuda Triangle left no trace of ever being there. Amelia Earhart's mission was to fly across the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans in 1937 but she mysteriously disappeared. Some of her items were recovered but her body was never found. She was declared dead in 1939. The fact that no one ever traveled into the Bermuda Triangle and lived to tell about it is a mystery. The Bermuda Triangle has claimed over 1,000 lives.

ReplyDeleteI think that is a good therory of how many ships and planes had disappeard in the Bermuda Trangle. Studies have shown that the magnetic forces do cause stuff to go wacko. The ships probably do hit rocks and most likely end up skinking do to the magnetic forces.
DeleteWhat makes the Bermuda triangle so interesting is how every thing that goes there disappears without a trace. No one has ever crashed there and then been saved. It could be just bad luck or something else. No one knows for sure what has happened.

It could just be bad luck but know one will ever know until they experience it and come back out alive. Like it said in the article that people have tons of theories like sea monsters, squids, ect. but know one will know unless they go to the Bermuda triangle for themselves

They just dissapear with no remains and no one knows where they went. Other odd things have happened like, compasses not working when you enter the Bermuda and that's the only thing you can rely on. There's a lot of different theories to what could've happened with the planes, boats, and people, but it could of been back luck like one of the cheifs said. It also could've been a differnt current or something like that, but no one knows what really happens.
ReplyDeleteThe Bemuda Triangle, or "The Devil's Triangle", is so strange and mysterious becuase no one really knows why and what happens to the planes that fly over, or the boats traviling across it. There have been many cases of people entering the triangle, disappearing, and never returning. Many people have tried to find the victims or their plane or boat, but they have all came back with no evidence. So what really did happen to the traveling victims? My theory is that there is just very bad whether around that area. But then why has there been no evidence found?
ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is very interesting and mysterious. Ships and planes disappearing without a trace is very bizzare. Although these events are very strange, it is a little hard to believe things like giant squids and alien abductions are the cause of these unnatural occurances. all I think really happened was human error occured, ships sank and planes crashed at sea. after they crashed they sank to the bottom, which in the Bermuda Triangle is really deep down. Trenches go down as deep as 20,000 feet and thats probably where ships and planes are.

Numerous disappearances of ships and aircraft take place there, and evidence of the vehicles and/or humans is never found. Christopher Coloumbus reported strange things like a "great flame of fire" crashing into the water, a light in the distance, and inaccurate compass readings. Many theories surround the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, such as alien abductions, sea monsters, and the alignment of the magnetic poles of the Earth. My personal theory on this matter is that either people, aircraft, and ships are vanishing because of magnetic anomalies or large amounts of methane gas being released from the ocean floor. These theories, in my opinion, are the most realistic.
ReplyDeleteI agree with GloriaC3 the bermuda triangle was accountable for the unexplained disappearance's of many aircraft and boats. Also Christopher Columbus did experience strange things as he passed through the bermuda triangle such as inaccurate compass readings. i also agree with GloriaC3's theory except for i think the magnetic fields in that area play more of a role in the disappearances than magnesium gas.

In my perspective, the Bermuda Triangle is an area with reports of unusual activity and numerous disappearances, weather we are referring to the disappearance of ships or humans. However, I believe that this behavior is more coincidental, instead of supernatural. In fact, many of the ships and aircrafts disappearance's may be due to the inaccurate compass readings in this region. the Bermuda Triangle is the only place on Earth where true north and magnetic north align (hence the erratic compass readings). The pilots could have lost their sense of direction, due to the inaccurate compass readings and found themselves unable to rectify the situation. In conclusion, I think it is easier to assume that the Bermuda Triangle has a reasonable explanation rather than assuming it has to do with the supernatural.
DeleteI agree with GloriaC3. I think she makes very good points about the weird magnetic anomalies and how the different sightings of ships sinking and planes going down in flames. I also agree with her personal theory of how there is no aliens or big squids eating or abducting humans, but rather weird compass malfunctions and people not being careful. She said these are the most realistic and the only probable assumption and I completely agree other theories are really unrealistic.

ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is so strange and mysterious. Ships, airplanes, and people were disappearing and they were not able to find a trace of them. The Bermuda triangle is so intriguing because no one knows where all the shipwrecks and people are. Recent studies show that the Bermuda triangle had some magnetic poles that messed up the compass's readings. My hypothesis is that the Bermuda triangle had magnetic poles and the readings had eventually messed up the calculations. Therefore, the people that survived the wreck died on the island.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do agree with jennyc5 in saying that magnetic polarity affects the pilots and sailors vehicle instruments. It is one of of the only places on the earth that the north pole and magnetic north pole line up. However, I think that the magnetism interferes with the compasses not the poles. Also, I find it quite possible that human error plays an undetermined role in this matter.

I don't think that the flame of fire that Christopher Columbus saw had any thing to do with it. I think that the USS cyclops has something to do with it because it had 10,000 tons of mangnese. I think that how air planes and ships disapear is realy weard and strange. There are so many stories about the Burmuda Triangle that I don't know what story to believe.

ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda triangle is very strange and mysterious because of its multitude of ship wrecks and plane crashes. The number of fatalities and missing ships and airplanes is very bizarre! I think part of the reason the compasses are usually messing up would be the fact that it’s one of only two places on earth where magnetic north pole and the actual North Pole line up which has been known to throw off compasses. I think flight 19's disappearance was also very mysterious. I believe part of the disappearance was pilot error. Technology wasn’t very good in these days so he had to pay close attention to where he was going or else he could he easily get lost. I think I didn’t pay enough attention. And his plane wasn’t be able to be found because the plane was going fast and it nose-dived into the ocean and since it was so heavy it hit the ocean floor and was buried deep underneath the ocean floor. The Bermuda triangle may be a mystery never solved.

Yet this isn't the intriging part none of the missing vessels or planes are found. In fact the US Navy sarched for Flight 19 until 1949, but with no evidence of survival. Ever since and before the article about the Bermuda Triangle by Vincent Gaddis many theories have come to make a conclusion, such as aliens, methane breakouts, and a mysterious third dimension has come into play. My theory is that magnetism comes into play with the compasses going haywire

What is strange and mysterious is that when ships and planes go in the ships or planes are never seen again nor the men in them. It is said that once you go in you become disoriented and you are never seen again. Some theorist say that there might be sea monsters or giant squids that eat the men and the planes or ships. My personal theory is that there are no giant squids or sea monsters, this is just some paranormal actions.

On December 5,1945, five U.S. navy pilots tool off from Florida for a training mission known as Flight 19. On March 1918, a 542 length U.S. ship names the USS Cyclops with over 300 men sank beteewn the Chesapeak Bay and the Barbados. Philosophers say that monsters in the Atlantic could have haken the passengers, or they could have been inhabited by aliens. I personally believe that the pilots and captains of the US ships could have ran out of fuel and drowned.

But, what I really like about her evidence is that I liked the way that she pulled all kinds of important information of the story to make it sound strange and mysterious. ReplyDeleteThe fact that many people, ships, and planes have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle make this phenomenon so strange and mysterious. Compasses and radios stop working once people enter the Bermuda Triangle, and even if something goes wrong the people in danger wouldn't be able to tell any one with a radio that doesn't work. This problem with radios is what makes all of this so intriguing. I think that when people go around the Bermuda Triangle they just run into bad weather and storms.

Many ships,boats,planes and pepole have disappeared between the Atlantic Ocean roughly bounded by Miam,Bermuda and Puerto Rico.There is no single theory that solves the mystery of what has happen to the ships,boats,planes and pepole that have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle.
