I really do think that Area 51 is really strange and mysterious. It is some supposed military testing site that is possibly not even real. It was just a myth until the CIA released some declassified file stating that Area 51 was real and was an Air force testing facility. Area 51 is considered so top secret because it is a site for aircraft testing. Something else that made Area 51 so top secret is that the Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash was taken away and stored in Area 51. It was later said by a former Area 51 worker that they were working on an anti-matter aircraft. Personally though i think that the type of research going on in Area 51 is militaristic super weapons.

I think that Area 51 is interesting but what makes it so mysterious is that the government never really revealed the name of the base or what it holds inside. They started to mention a base 81 miles from Las Vegas and it made secret military air planes like the U-2 spy plane but never revealed the official name of the base.

There is no doubt that Area 51 is one of America's biggest mysteries. The thought of a secret military base in the middle of Nevada makes you wonder, what is in the base. One theory is that the military has captured aliens and their spacecrafts. While other theories are that they are testing future weapons and airplanes. Personally, I believe that there are no aliens in the base,but future military weapons are being tested. There accounts of "UFOs" being seen yet the government replied that they were just testing out a new plane. A military base that is denied to exist by the government is very interesting and strange, yet many people believe that there is an Area 51.

But, i do think there is something that the might be doing extraterrestrial life. Otherwise, why wouldn't they tells us what goes on for sure. Besides that, i agree with drews2 100%.

The 81 mile space is a perfect place for testing aircraft. It is mysterious because the government has covered up all photos taken by media. The myth that UFO's have been found in this area is possibly a cover up for testing new weapons. I totally agree with drews2

Area 51 is a military base, of course the goverment wants it to be a secret. The goverment makes it mysterious by not talking about it. If the goverment wanted everyone in the world to know about their secert wepons and aircrafts then Area 51 would have been confirmed a long time ago, but they dont want people to know.The only thing that makes Area 51 strange and mysterious are the people that call it strange and mysterious.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange because it is a top secrete military base. I think it is top secrete because there are some ufo sightings flying objects around that spot. The type of researchers that take place in Area 51 is a UFOoligist. It is intriguing is that they dont want us to know about it.
ReplyDeleteArea 51 is suspicious to me for multiple reasons. First it has been covered up by the government for almost 50 years. Also, people have taken photos of the base, but of course the government has covered that up. I believe Area 51 is just a Air Force testing facility. I think this because there have been at least two planes that have been made there secretly and later on released to then public. The first one made was called the U-2 steath recon drone. This was made to be a spy plane to take pictures of enemy positions. The next plane is way more realistic. The B-2 steath bomber/fighter jet is a 21st century plane. This plane has been used in operation Iraqi Freedom and a few others. The reason the government covers up the position of the base is because of two reasons. The first is so no one can sneek inside the base. The second reason is beacuse there are people in the world that would try to destroy the base. Also, I agree with benv2 about the military making militaristic super weapons. Area 51 is strange and mysterious mainly because not much is known by the public about it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with JacobB2, that the lengths the government went to covering up any and all evidence of area 51 is very suspicious. The existence of the facility was suspected for several decades, and some fairly solid proof was uncovered. Yet, the government continued to deny area 51, even for years after rumors of the establishment were widespread throughout society. I do like the point that JacobB2 brings up on the reasoning behind covering up area 51. It didn`t previously occur to me that spies may try to sneak in and obtain classified information. The same with the possibility of a foreign organization targeting the facility and attempting to destroy it. I don`t however agree with the theory that the base is strictly used for air force testing. I think that it is for anything that is not ready to be released to the public yet, weather that be aliens, or a high-tech transportation system with questionable mechanisms that could be dangerous to the public. Otherwise, JacobB2 brings up several valid points that are worth considering.
DeleteWhat makes area 51 strange and mysterious is that there have been a lot ogf strange things seen around that area that no one can explain. things like high flying planes and flying saucers have been reported. i thing what goes on in area 51 is kept secret because our government is researching high tech aircraft that they don't want other countries to have, like how they didn't want Russia to have the U-2 plane during the cold war, so they kept it secret. What makes it so intriguing is that no one knows what goes on in there and they want to find out.

I personally believe that they are testing new deadly government and military equipment there. the government keeps it so top secret for that reason, they don't want anyone-especially the enemies find out the new weapons and other things that could cause mass destruction. If America's enemies new about our secret weapons they would be much of a secret and could be easily stolen by other countries. That is why a think the only thing secret about area 51 is area 51 it's self.

DeleteWhat make area 51 so strange and mysterious is that it has been kept secret form us and we don't know what they are doing there. Sure we already know that they obviously test aircraft there due to the air field, but what are they doing in the buildings around area 51? That's the weird part. People still don't know what they do in there but it could range from a bunch of things like UFO's to time machines. Also why can't tell us what they are doing inside those buildings is strange. The thing that makes area 51 so strange is the thing that go on there that we can't know about.

Well i think it isn't reall that strang and mysterious because the fact that is a military testing base in Nevada near Las Vegas, no wonder why they want to keep the are secret. then also from the other side it might be strange to people because the military is testing things they have never seen before and think that it could even be possable. Like the incident where area 51 was testing the U-2 plain and evryone thought it was a UFO becuse it could almost take off verticaly and flew so high up in the air. The really only thing about area 51 that is strange and mysterious is that the military is figuring out new and amazing technoligy!
ReplyDeleteI think what makes Area 51 so strange and mysterious is the fact that Area 51 wasn't even classified as existing until people claimed they saw UFOs. What makes Area 51 so intriguing is that Area 51 was where they figured out how to work used captured planes and other air force vehicles from other countries they were at war with. My personal theory on Area 51 is that it exists but not used for UFOs. From the information I have collected and the articles I have read, I believe Area 51 is used to test air force planes and other aircrafts, whether captured from other countries or created by the U.S. Army.

If they were just testing aircraft then why would they feel the need to keep it a secret? I believe they're hiding something important at area 51. This is why we think its so strange and mysterious.

So, humans as a speices, usually are curious about these kinds of situations. Rachel also makes the point that if they are only testing U.S. aircrafts, then why are the trying to hide and deny area 51? ReplyDeleteWhat makes area 51 so mysterious is the fact it may not even exist is one answer. No one knows for sure why people arnt able to see this area. I suppose that they want to keep this place hidden because their experimants may frighten people of society and the world leaders may want to argue about the operation of these experiments. For exaple: some people claim to have saw a UFO. If this is true these people were probably frightened at the site of the hovercraft. These experiments probably are for country defense and if word gets out that the US are making these vehicals, countries will start to wonder if we are trying to achieve something like world domination ine extreme matters.

What makes Area 51 so intriguing is that people say that they have seen UFOs there, while the Air Force released a paper stating that it was just an Air Force testing facility and satellite photos even showed that there wasn't anything suspicious just a really long run way and a huge hangar. My personal theory is that its just an Air Force testing facility, I mean there were people that saw a U-2 spy plane that flies very high and that was just experimental, they even ended up using that in the war.

And the times they do block satellite images of area 51 is to keep the technology of are Air Force secret so other country's and copy. And I also think that what the public saw was a U-2 plane they were probably testing. The public was probably just freaked out about the fact that they never seen a object fly that high or take off at such a vertical angle. last it is clear to say that area 51 is a testing facility for the Air Force, it would be crazy to think that aliens actually excised!

The Air Force just went out to the public and told them that it was just one of their planes that they were testing when everyone claimed to have seen a UFO. The public was probably scared because no plane has ever been able to take off in such a vertical angle or fly so high before.

There is enough evidence to say that there are no aliens or space ships there. The military even emitted that they were flying U-2 planes high above Area 51. All pictures that have been taken by satellite have been erased and all acknowledgement of the strange, deserted areas existence has been denied. I personally believe area 51 is so secret because of the sort of work being done there. The sort of work I believe is being done there is exactly what all of the hype is about. top secret experiments and maybe extraterrestrial activity, of course none of this can be proven wrong or right quite yet, mainly for the peoples lack of knowledge of what the government is hiding. Just like any other mystery people are intrigued. Everyone has a spark of curiosity and stories like such ignite them, stories where answers are unknown annoy and agitate many people, Mainly because people feel the need to know all, and not knowing creates curiosity. Pictures were taken and also confirmed what many believe, that there is complex of buildings, runway, and a gigantic hangar. The uses of these item are believed to be used to test secret next generation prototypes. Except there has to be more to the story than just secret testing of prototypes for the area to be so secluded and for such little to be known.

ReplyDeleteI agree with AlexanderS5's about the believed research going on, he has valid points. I happen to disagree about him calling area 51 "so top secret." If the area was as secret as it was believed to be, we wouldn’t have any evidence to support our theories about the base, only theories. What I believe makes Area 51 so intriguing is the fact that since we're the generation of speed, we expect information to be served to us on a silver platter. We don’t know everything about area 51 and what exactly might be going on in the not-so-secret base, and the fact that the government won’t release much about the somewhat-secret area is why people claim for it to mysterious and intriguing.

However, I do not believe that aliens are in the base because many "sightings" were actually experimental planes. Also, there are no actual pictures of the aliens. DeleteThe reason that Area 51 is so strange and mysterious, is the secrecy. Humans are all naturally curious, and the minute we are told that we can`t see something, or have access to information, our immediate response is to become more curious, and to find out as much as possible. Not to mention the rumors of what is occurring in this not-so-secret facility. UFO`s, aliens, they are all mysterious, and any new information is intriguing. They may be experimenting with top-secret military weapons, transportation systems, and other technology. We are the generation of speed, everything needs to be fast, the latest and greatest. So it`s no surprise that we are interested in such current technology. I think that area 51 does research on anything and everything that the government doesn`t want to be released to the public yet. Anything that could be dangerous, which might be why it`s so top-secret. With all the new possibilities we could gain from area 51research, who wouldn`t be interested?

Even though it doesn't show up on maps doesn't mean that its automatically keeping secrets, it could mean that they don't want people to find them and start spying on them or trying to enter their facility. Or they don't want to reveal there plans to other enemy countries. But all in all, I completely agree on your opinion.

Well I believe that since we didn't know exactly what area 51 held we've started rumors about aliens and stuff. We're probably working on something super top secret. DeleteI believe Area 51 is legit, As with its "mysteries" I believe majority of them. Starting with it's alien legends. It's location is has have had multiple alien sightings it would be logical to say one crashed it was reported to the government. The gov. tried to cover it up with building area 51 around the UFO and possible evidence of other UFO'S. To use reverse sycoligy and find out the mechanics behind the hovercraft.

Area 51 is a place where it can't be found on any tracking devices or maps. It also, used to be a landing place for airplanes. The tracker people think that UFOs land there too.That is what makes this piece of land mysterious and interesting. There even might be aliens on area 51. on this Area there is a lot of mystery.

Well lets just say that they haven't revealed much to us about what experiments are taking place there, but they have revealed some things to us. for example: there were military aircrafts that were made there in area 51. Who knows maybe they hide these experiments from the public because they might frighten us and may frighten other countries.
